FEES
Below is a list of the permitted fees applicable to the tenancy as defined by the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
HOLDING DEPOSIT: A holding deposit equivalent to 1 weeks rent will be payable to reserve the property once you have been provisionally accepted by the landlord. This holding deposit will be refunded from the first months rent. The holding deposit will be withdrawn if you decide not to go ahead with the tenancy, fail a Right to Rent check or provide false or misleading information (eg fail to declare CCJ's or adverse credit history)
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit equivalent to 5 weeks rent is taken and secured with the DPS in the event of damages or defaults.
UNPAID RENT: Interest will be charged at 3% above Bank of England base rate for any rent unpaid more than 14 days in arrears.
LOST KEYS: The tenant is responsible for actual cost of replacing locks, keys or security devices, etc plus charges of £15 incl VAT per hour to cover any time incurred by the agent.
